Who do you think controls your life you, the stars, your parents or the teachers?

I think the only person who controls your desteny is you yourself. if you want to do some thing then you can do it if you try hard enuf.
i feel like i control my desiny because its my future and the only person in control of my future is me.

I feel it is my destiny to become the president of the united states of america. Im the smartest kid in my class and ima a animal at spelling bees so i think im qualified. Iv got alot of freinds so i should get enuf votes and im funny so that might help if i bust a few jokes or sing a song.

  I'm having some technical difficulties in posting the visual that goes with the blog this morning.  I will share the cartoon with Mr. Tombasco so you'll have the frame of reference that goes with the topic; there will also be copies of the cartoon available in my room all week.  Because of the short week and my lack of technological skills, I will give you until Monday the 27th to finish it up.  The topic is:

How do you view your destiny?  Calvin and Hobbes in the cartoon (that isn't posted here) are talking about their destiny and who is in control of that.  Do you believe the stars, your parents, your teachers, or you are in control of your future?   Think about some of the books you've read recently; who is in charge of Hero's future in Much Ado About Nothing or who was in charge of the boys' destiny in Lord of the Flies?  Now consider your own destiny and explain in 250-400 words.  (You may want to think about being more than halfway through the school year; who will determine whether you succeed or fail?)
